Fixatation
I have been holding off posting these, until they got to their recipient. A while back Karyn made me an amazing stuffed doxie and I have owed her a parcel for a while. I was a bit lost on what to make her until she mentioned that she loved my knitted socks. Now she has confessed she doesn't wear sock, but I think I may change her mind soon.

I kinda made up the pattern as I went along, per the size of Karyn's feet. This yarn is pretty stretchy so I did go with negative ease. Even though they we a tiny bit too big for me they were very cozy. I had a rough time keeping tension while knitting these but I would go through it all again, to have a pair of these cozy socks for myself

Short row heel, no surprise there. A quick comfy knit. And I know they are in a well loved home!
I started something new today, and I am frustrated. Lets just say no stitch count or dimensions along with extra large arm holes, make for not a happy knitter. Will I continue on? Not sure yet, but dang am I disanointed.

I still can't bring myself to put on the socks, they are just too perfect.
I am saving them for the next time I go to a swanky hotel, and I can wear them on the pristine carpet, snuggle with them in the crispy fresh bed, and sit back and relax - not having to worry that the dog will take a shine to them, or that they will pick up all the dog fur, dirt and kiddy-detritus from off my (perennially) filthy floor...
Love the clean short row heel.
nice work.
