Summer tops
Thursday, July 27, 2006 at 10:07AM Tank #1 was intended for my sister, but for some reason it ended up more my size. So even though I didn't intend this for me, I like it!

Sorry this picture is a little dark. I look thrilled in this picture!
Lace Cami, from LMKG.
Yarn: KP Shine, in cloud, 6 skeins
Needles: Size 6 addi
Time: ? (gee I haven't been very good at keeping track of these things!)

Well it is soft and lightweight, perfect for summer. I am not the strappy tank type, but I rather like this! Sorry Rachel, I will think of something special for you to make up for this:)
Tank #2

Ms. Marigold
Yarn: Rowan Lightweight DK wool, nine skeins
Needles: Um 6's I think
Time: Started July 4th- Finished July 10th
Modifications: um I had some issues with this pattern, so I had to just "make it work". I did do about half the ruffle than the pattern said:

but I think it is rather cute this way. Looks less like wings. So I have to items I will actually wear this summer. Although I am starting to rethink knitting ms. marigold in wool (laugh Allison, I know you want to). But I know that the top will carry me to winter with a nice white button down blouse.
So I think I have finally have posted all my finished objects, and of course I have started new thing... more socks and Picovilo to come!

I thought you used 7's on the marigold? remember, I made fun of you or something like that?
And Ms. Marigold will make a lovely autumn sweater (I'm a huge, huge fan of sweater vests. Maybe this is why my friends tell me I dress like an old lady!)
Anyhoo, yours looks lovely, I like the color. It would totally look cute as part of a fall wardrobe.
