Modifications: Started with the Turkish Cast On, Adapted stitch pattern to work toe up, short row heel, and picot bind off. Do I need to mention that I knit them magic loop style 2 at a time?

These are pretty wild. so for a girlie touch I decided to add a picot bind off. I thought about a folded picot hem, but I wasn't into sewing down those live stitches, nope not on my days off. So I took the easy way out, and am happy with how crazy the bind off looks. Since the stitch pattern is on the bias the socks stay up with out the need of ribbing. Yay another reason to leave off the ribbing!

Feels good to be moved in and knitting again. I want to switch it up a bit, something other than socks. I have plans I just need to get to the yarn store. I have been off from work this week but today I start my new position in my new office... luckily I can walk to work and be home at lunch to visit Vito. I think that will help the transition!  And now that I finally have internet again (thank you comcast man) I am off to see what I have missed this past week in blogland!

Okay we share a mind. That the same sock pattern I'm working in. Mine are turkish toe up, too. For me the short row heel wasn't working out, so I frogged back a little bit and I'm going to give a backwards gusseted heel a try. We'll see how it turns out. *roll eyes* I have been plainning on doing a picot bind off, too. Although my sock is not a pretty pink, its a rather wild watermelon-y stripe!
