Things are back to normal
So ya, there was this post the other day. I'd say I was kinda freaken out. But I am better now, I have loosened me grip a little and I have gotten back to what I really love about knitting.

Socks, they really do calm my little heart. They are my stress relieving little portable friends, always by my side. Monday night I decided I need to start a new pair of sock, just for me. While I was picking the yarn and the pattern I was just so excited to get started. I could barely contain myself while winding the yarn. That is what knitting is suppose to be like.
At first I thought I would knit Pomatomus, but after reading over the pattern I realized those kinda need to be done on dpns, one at a time since the pattern moves. Love the pattern, but I set those aside for another day. I needed something a little more mindless, but pretty. So I went with the cuff off of Giotto, another great pattern from Anna. And went with plain stockenttte for the rest of the sock.

Don't adjust your screen, the colors are just bright. And I love them. These socks remind me of a watercolors, with a pretty crown on top. They may know be know as my watercolor socks. I am already turning the heel, and can I just say it feels so good to be knitting socks again!

Look what arrived in my mailbox Saturday. Lovely sock yarn from Purly, in her new venture Sundara yarn. The color is Cirque, I don't think I have every seen such amazing colors combinations, not to mention the softest silkiest sock yarn ever. I need to put some thought into what this amazing yarn is going to become.

i'm happy to read that you are feeling more positive.
Also, I love that cuff. I've got to knit socks for my sock pal and I may blatantly rip off your idea for the cuff. Cause the rest will all be stockinette. Way more fun than just ribb.
