The Knit List

While I have been getting some knitting done I also have been organizing my knitting. So often while I am blog surfing I come across projects I just love and need to knit. But I always seem to forget those things while I am buying yarn or planning ahead.  So I decided to make a set on flickr of all the projects I would like to work on in the future (like how I didn't say this year.)  I have added notes, descriptions and comments. About where the pattern can be found, yarn requirements and even links to complete projects I really like. The flickr set can be found here, in case you want to peek around.  I doubt no one will be surprised at the number of socks on this list.

I gotta say I love flickr. Now lets just hope I can remember to look this set up when I am in need of a new project. Speaking of new projects I promised my sister that I would knit a sweater for her new little baby. I am planning on making this sweater:

From Posh Pooches, a very cute book I got for Christmas.  It even came with knitting needles that had little doggies on it. The sweater will be so small, I  have probably spent more time thinking and blogging about it than it will take for me to knit it!

The Sweater is rather urgent, because cute little Lucy is only 8oz, but growing fast. It looks like I may need to make a few sizes, to accommodate her growing. Because I am not sure if she can be carried around in other peoples sweaters forever.

She is so tiny!! Wow.

Your knitset is so organized! I am in awe. Lots of gorgeous socks in your future. I just finished Falling Leaves a week or so ago and I really love the results.

Awwww so cute! We've got a lot of "to be knit" projects in common. And socks are definitely on my list too. =)

Ill just use your list to work from :)
I wish I had a cute puppy to knit for, wait did I just say that?

hahaha! I thought you meant a human-type baby and you were going to use the dog pattern because it was smaller. I am silly, and I needed to scroll down, apparently.

-I think I'll work from your list too! ;)
I love your selections and the links you've put together with the pictures is a great idea. I really should do a similar set for myself.

Very cool! Thanks for making this. I should definitely do something similar. I want to knit my doggie a sweater too.

I will be following in your footsteps and copying your knitting "to-do" list - nice!!
And I'm so jealous you have the Posh Pooches - a non-knitter (yet dog lover) at work got it too! I'm going to have to go check the bookstore!
