More Purses

Here are the rest of the purses that I made last week, during the mad sewing spree.  I think I am getting the rhythm down, pinning, sewing. Lather rinse repeat.

Green Polka Dots -sold

Camo Clutch- Available

Spray Painted Doves- Available

Black Bag with Ribbon Detail- Sold

Naked Ladies Camo- Available

Orange Bag with Polka Dots Details- Available

Scrunchie Green Bag- Sold

Blue Polka Dots-Available

Pink/Camo Bag- Available

On Friday night Daniel sold 4 of the purses, along with a bunch of buttons we just got.  At $25 bucks each I cleared my expenses and even made some money. The plan is when I make enough of a profit selling my wears I am going to get a tattoo, and then in the future be supported. I do have some purses left so if anyone on would like one, drop me an email. They are $25 + shipping.  I have marked which ones have been sold and which ones are still available.

I still have mixed feeling about selling my creations. Partly because I fear rejection, and people criticising my work. Also I have never want to sell my crafts because I felt I would no longer enjoy the hobby. I guess it is a thin line, that I will be learning as I go along. I enjoyed working on these purses, and it was nice to hear that people bought them, but it is still weird putting your stuff out there for people too see.  I also feel a ting of weirdness offering my bags on my blog for sale,  I wouldn't want my readers to feel like I was soliciting them for money.  I just thought I would offer then in case anyone in interested, but no pressure... really.

My goodness, why you gotta have all the cute purses?!? hehehe... they are really very lovely, and worth $25, no doubt. Great photos, too.

oh i don't think it should bother you to sell your crafts. they are quite nice and people will like them and buy them. i am sad i am unemployed or else i'd be snapping one up. you people who can sew amaze me. and people will criticize anything. just go with what makes you happy. that is the key to enjoying it.

Those are awesome girl! I especially like the first green one, the black one with the ribbon and the orange ones - its the little details like the tucks and pleats that get me.

I especially like the one with the ribbon that's already gone (sniff sniff) -- and I'm totally at the same point it sounds like you are as far as selling your hobby. I make these quilted sweatshirt jackets and decided to invest some money into making some more to sell, and I have no motivation to finish them because they aren't for anyone in particular. They're just for someone, I don't know, in the future...hopefully. The hot weather up here doesn't help much either, but seeing your purses makes me motivated to get crackin'! Thanks for sharing...
