Actually Knitting Content
Friday, May 6, 2005 at 08:15AM Look, I have some knitting to post. These are the secret projects I was working on last week. The first being an iPod cozy I made for a swap on glitter. The girl I was swapping with has a 4g iPod, which is different from mine. So in the picture it looks a bit funny, but it fits the recipient's just fine. I used some hand spun yarn I bought from my local yarn store.

I got this pattern from the amazing grumperina, and I am thrilled with the results. I am sure I will be making many more of these in the future. What you can't really see from the picture is, the screen is covered with plastic. That is sewn into the square opening. Thanks again to grumperina for the great pattern.
I also made a a iPod shuffle cozy for a friend. I used the kool aid dyed sock yarn that I made for this, and I kinda made up that pattern based on the dimension given on the apple website.

For this one I added a strap to the back, for holding the headphones or for attaching it to things, like you purse strap. I had to use a lighter for size while I was knitting this. It is a amazing how small the shuffles really are. Man I want one, but I must be strong and save my pennies for my iBook and my slr camara.
Well we are still "house hunting" and after a momentary freak out last night, I have faith that we will find something. This weekend will be spent packing up the craft room and getting ready for my garage sale. Moving sucks.
I hope everyone has a great weekend.
