I Got Mail
Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at 09:09AM I have received a bunch of fun stuff in the mail lately. It's not even my birthday. First up Irene sent me the cutest book of puppies all the way from Paris:

The pictures in this book are so sweet, here are some of my favorites:

Really I want to take all these babies home and give them snuggles. Thanks again Irene, you rock. It was so sweet of you to think of me!
I finally scanned all the postcards in that I received in the postcard swap. I have made a slidehow of all of them for your viewing pleasure. It was so fun to receive these little bits of art in the mail everyday. Thanks to my fellow postcard swapper for brightening my day.
And now on to the yarn, this batch is from Knitpicks:

Sock yarn for dyeing, I think I might try the Wilton cake dyes for this batch instead of the koolaid.

On skein of green apple Shine, I bought this just to try it out. I had to order enough stuff to get the free shipping.

And 10 Skeins of Mulled Wine, Wool of the Andes. For the Viennese Shrug for the latest issue of Interweave Knits. Look at that great color, that is so unlike me.
Here is what I ordered from Elann's:

Endless Summer Lara, 100% Cotton, for Orangina. Which I couldn't resist starting last night:

I think I might need to start calling my sweater blackina.... since it's not orange. This yarn is a pain in the butt to use. I have to pay constant attention that I am not spilting the yarn and trying to keep track of the lace pattern at the same time. But I think the results will be well worth it.
Yeah, two post in two days! I think I am on a roll.
