Sock Knitting Resorces

Every since I have become crazy for socks I have came across so many great online tutorials for various sock components. Without these tutorials I would have been lost, but the problem is I can never seem to find the tutorial I need when I need it. So I thought  could compile a list and link to it from my sidebar. That way I can have some sort of system to my sock knitting madness.

This is what I have found so far. If you have written a tutorial or have a well loved on that is not on this list send it to me. Either by email or leave me a comment. I will do some more looking over the weekend and on Monday I will try to get the list in my sidebar. Feel free to suggest anything I may be missing, I am especially looking for a good tutorial of a average heel gusset, since I have not used on of those. Anything that you think might be helpful to your fellow addicted sock knitter.

Wow, thanks so much for this list of links!

Oh, and in answer to your question about my blog: it's a play on a Neil Young song. I don't actually know much about it/him, but I had a naming contest for my blog a few months ago, and one of my friends came up with the name. =)

Thanks so much for putting the sock links! I had been looking for information on short row heels (because I hate knitting those flap heel things and the afterthought heels are unpredictable) and never knew that Sherman heel one existed until you posted it. Cool blog, btw. :)

Oh my gosh, I think I love you!!! I've been wanting to do something like that for so long now! You made it so organized that someone could print all this amd use your list as a table of contents. Awesome! I personally have not bought any sock knitting books due to the plethora of sock knitting info and patterns on the internet - but I hate having to go hunting all over the web every time I want to try something that I saw some time some where - but when or where was it? heh Thanks for the great info source!!! :)

Oh, thanks so much for this. I have enough sock yarn for like 4 pairs that I have from Secret Pal 5, but I've been too lazy to look this stuff up. You rule.

Thanks for the directory of info! I'm working up the nerve to try my first pair of socks, and this may push me over the edge.
