Rainy Weekend

I was pretty productive this weekend, partly because I was stuck inside.  That is not saying I didn't enjoy being at home, it was quite nice. I finished up to pairs of short socks and took them outside for a photo shoot.

I am glad these are done. Because I decided to start yet another pair, this time toe up. This is my first toe up pair with wrapped short row heels and toes.

So far so good, different but good. Look no holes! I have gotta say so far out of all the sock yarn i have used, knitpicks sock garden is my favorite ( see the pink striped socks above). So soft and nice to knit with. I am still thinking of some fixes on my jaywalker socks, and I might save them for the plane. We are going to South Carolina, in between Christmas and New Years. Yay!

Look at you woman! I'm really impressed by your productivity this weekend. I've always been so afraid of socks, as I've said before, but seeing how fast you and my mother-in-law whip 'em out makes me want to try...finally!

These are *so* cute! They look so cozy too. My favorite is the second pair- love that yarn.

PS- great job on Adelaide's booties! I love them! :)

Hi! I'm doing Jaywalker too for Socktoberfest. My ribbing is buckling a little also, but my gauge is still on, so I think it's just something that will be fixed with blocking (or so I hope!) Were you working with the stitches on 3 needles or 4? When I switched to 4 the pattern was much easier for me.

Where did you get the pattern for the cabled footies? They're so adorable! I need to make some now!
